Job Description:
Summary/Objective: Develop, coordinate and implement quality, cost effective programs in the area of Risk Management; Health and Safety Management; Training and Education Management and Security/Loss Control Management for the facility.

Safety, Health & Risk Management Related Responsibilities :
Responsible for assuring safety and environmental related regulatory compliance issues are met, as well as the preparation, updating and implementation of company safety policies/standards. Responsible for the analysis, preparation and maintenance of mandatory/regulatory related reports/records. Responsible for directing all safety committee and EH&S Pillar related activities to support the Performance System. Responsible for coordinating the investigations and reporting process as is relates to general liability claims and other plant property/equipment damages/losses.
Training & Education Management Related Responsibilities :
Responsible for coordinating, developing and/or locating quality, pertinent and timely training programs to raise personal skill and knowledge levels throughout the facility. Lead the development and implementation of specific departmental training programs.
Security/Loss Control Management Program :
Act as resource to plant management teams regarding all security related operations. Develop, update and implement security/loss control policies as they relate to employee, visitor, trucker and contractor activities while on plant properties. Direct safety orientation for new employees; administer plant hearing conversation program and annual audiometric testing, safety & training audio visual library; industrial hygiene monitoring and equipment maintenance; hazard communication program (SDS inventory); plant safety inspections and quarterly Workers' Compensation file reviews with insurance carrier.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, walk, taste and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position is active and requires standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, holding, gripping, reaching, pulling, stooping, extensive bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, extensive wrist movements, and climbing stairs. Work can be performed in extreme heat and cold environments. Must possess manual dexterity necessary to handle product appropriately. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items weighing 35 pounds. The employee must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. The employee must work safely at all times and follow all OSHA (safety) guidelines.
Food Quality, Safety and Security: The employee initiates action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality or safety system. The employee stops production, if necessary, to correct food safety issues, quality issues, or safety problems. The employee identifies and records any problems relating to food safety, quality of the product, processes, quality system or safety system. The employee controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety or quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. The employee informs line supervisor, production manager, QA manager, or other management personnel of any food safety or quality issues or of any processes which become non-compliant with specified requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
