Job Description:


Essential

Checks schedule for product to be produced, obtain recipe sheets and identify which line or lines for which you are responsible.


Must have ability to operator all mixers.


Communicates effectively with other departments and Team Members that are being relieved.


Weigh, dump or hand adds raw ingredients required to make dough, use of DSI scanner to split ingredients to the the mixing room.


Understands and completes the mixing report in a timely and accurate manner. Must have the ability to operate DSI scanners.


Uses a dough dolly to move troughs from one work area to another as needed to complete the mixing of dough.


Operates the mixing equipment to include, but not limited to; all panel view screens, steam and chilled water jackets, and scales.


Using a standardized process accurately combines ingredients in the mixer to produce quality dough per recipes.


Prepares the work area for the following shift.


Performs visual inspections of raw materials and of products being produced.


Must properly record lot numbers on mixing report for raw ingredients and manifold numbers.


Maintains a clean work environment.


Notifies Maintenance, Group Manager and/or your Team Leader of any repairs or adjustments that are required.


Understands, observes, and complies with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.


Performs all duties necessary to meet Government and Regulatory, SQF Institute, Co-Manufacturers and Company requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.


Notifies Group Manager of any suspicious personnel or incidents occurring that relate to plant security.


Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.


Identifies and records any problems relating to food safety and the quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.


Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety and quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.


Informs Line Manager, Group Manager or any other Management personnel of ANY food safety or quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required as Essential

Possesses a basic understanding of math and has knowledge of measurements associated with reading a measuring instrument.


Thorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMP's and safety policies.


Ability to operator a dough dolly and fork truck.


Effectively communicates.


Able to lift 50 lbs. in weight above shoulder level.


Understands the basics of scale operations and weights.


Possesses the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.


Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Don't Be Fooled

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
