Job Description:
Checks schedule for product to be produced to obtain the correct dough for process.
Communicates effectively with other departments.
Must obtain license and operate a dough dolly.
Must haul dough with dough dollies from proof room to cutter, and scan doughs to line, using the DSI scanner.
Must operate dough dump lift to empty troughs into hopper and ensure that troughs are emptied.
Must be able to perform multiple tasks.
Uses a dough dolly to move troughs from one work area to another as needed.
Ability to operate the cutter to relieve the operator for breaks.
Ability to perform quality checks and maintain proper documentation for them.
Must fill-in for vacations, vacancies, sickness, leaves, etc.
Physically able to lift 50 pounds and move dough troughs by hand when necessary.
Ability to change the wrap or dental dam using the correct procedure.
Have ability to shut down, start up, slow down and speed up the cutter.
Understands how the hopper fill level affects the rest of the process and has the ability to maintain the fill level at the proper level.
Understands the root cause of doubles, fish eyes, holes in the sheet, etc.
Understands the operation of the cookie cutter and ability to set-up and remove the cookie cutter.
Understands and has the ability to change the width of the crackers as well as the thickness of the sheet.
Understands what to look for when checking rollers.
Ability to perform changeovers and troubleshoot the line without additional help.
Ability to track each conveyor at the cutter.
Ability to adjust the lapper width.
Understands how to take apart and clean the cutter on a shut down.
Prepares the work area for the following shift.
Maintains a clean work environment.
Notifies Maintenance, Group Manager and/or your Team Leader of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
Understands, observes, and complies with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.
Performs all necessary duties to meet Government and Regulatory, SQF Institute, Co-Manufacturers and Company requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
Notifies Group Manager of any suspicious personnel or incidents occurring that relate to plant security.
Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Identifies and records any problems relating to food safety and the quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety and quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Informs Line Manager, Group Manager or any other Management personnel of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required as Essential
Thorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMP's and safety policies.
Effectively communicates.
Dough dolly certification.
Able to lift 50 lbs. in weight above shoulder level.
Possesses the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
