Job Description:
Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

Conduct employee orientation for company employees in the Operations department.
Demonstrate and work with new hires to move product through each step of the process flow based on their assigned position Demonstrate Best Practices, assists and provides direction to new hires Assist with the revision of training curriculum, testing, and support materials for new training programs to be implemented in the field.
Provide recurrent training for all validations and mandated safety training programs.
Assist supervisors and management staff with people development.
Apprise supervisor of the status of new hires during their training and any issues that may occur.
Track validation progress for employees and report issues or behind schedule timelines to the appropriate supervisor.
Administer and facilitate efficiently the Alchemy training software/process.
Identify areas that need the most improvement and report to supervisor for quality enhancement.
Understand, observe, and comply with the handling/usage of color-coded container policy as necessary.
Maintain clean, sanitary work environment.
Immediately notify maintenance, line operations or supervision of any repairs or adjustments required.
Possess thorough understanding of all company policies, including GMPs and safety policies.
Communicate effectively with other departments, managers, and other employees.
The employee may have to arrive earlier/later than normal depending on business needs.
Check schedule regularly.
Maintain training and validation information in the training matrix and scheduling system Requirement/Skills:
Good communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
Plan own work activities and plan and direct work activities of new hires.
Read and understand various reports, process flow, quality documentation, and production run lists.
Prepare detailed records or reports such as training, validation, and TMOS reports.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Understand standardized math processes.
Work with minimal supervision; under pressure and on several tasks at the same time.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing 50 pounds above shoulder level.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, holding, gripping, reaching, pulling, stooping, extensive bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, extensive wrist movements, and climbing all day.
Work can be performed in extreme heat and cold environments.
The employee must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
The employee must work safely at all times and follow all OSHA (safety) guidelines.
Food Quality, Safety and Security:
The employee initiates action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality or safety system.
The employee stops production, if necessary, to correct food safety issues, quality issues, or safety problems.
The employee identifies and records any problems relating to food safety, quality of the product, processes, quality system or safety system.
The employee controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety or quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
The employee informs line supervisor, production manager, QA manager, or other management personnel of any food safety or quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full--time position, with rotating days off lasting a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 12 hours in most circumstances.
The employee must be able to work overtime when required.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and
Experience:
High school diploma/GED is required.
Preferred Education and
Experience:
Two
years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
